POSITION - BOAT BOY

QUALIFICATION:

• Completed class 12 and should be able to speak, read and write in English with Swimming and Sailing proficiency.
• Should have a valid Qatari Driving license, with proficiency in Safety boat operation and with a First Aid certificate.
• He should have a mechanical certificate in Marine Boat Engineering (outboard/inboard).
• This position requires a valid Qatari light vehicle (car) or loader (tractor) driving license.

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar resort, Hotel, or recreational club with water sports environment & launching and offloading water crafts.

SUMMARY OF MAJOR DUTIES:

• Be able to do Boat maintenance and minor repairs (dinghies and motorboats).
• Capable of launching motorboats and watercrafts.
• Assistance in launching and return to storage of sailing dinghies and catamarans.
• Housekeeping of boat yard, maintenance room, and sail room (with house boys' assistance).
• Capable of fiberglass repairs and polishing boat services, maintenance, and repair of boat trolleys.
• To repair, maintain engine boats. Provide diagnostic reports on faulty boat engines.
• Prepares scope of work for overhauling boat engines.
• Remove/dismantle engine boats, transport for local repair workshop and reinstall.
• Performs any other duties as required by the Club Administration. (Including refueling of DWS petrol barrels from petrol station).

WORK SCHEDULE: Straight or Split shift
