Boba Barista

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team in creating exceptional coffee or boba experiences for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, ensuring that each beverage is crafted to perfection. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of tea and coffee drinks, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and providing outstanding service to our café patrons. Your role will be essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits.

Duties

• Prepare and serve high-quality tea and coffee base beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Operate the Toast POS systems efficiently for order processing and cash handling.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the guest and service areas, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of tea, syrups, and supplies.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment while enhancing the overall customer experience.
• Utilize time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy periods while maintaining quality service.

Experience

• Previous boba or barista experience or strong knowledge of drinks preparation is preferred.
• Familiarity with Toast or Square POS systems is advantageous.
• Proven customer service skills in a retail or food service environment.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and sales transactions.
• Experience in food preparation and understanding of food safety practices is essential.

Job Type: Part-time

Base Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
