Duties

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing inquiries promptly.
• Answer questions about menu items, ingredients, and allergens.
• Operate POS terminals efficiently to handle credit card and loyalty program transactions.
• Handle customer complaints professionally, escalating to management when needed.
• Prepare and serve a variety of boba tea and specialty beverages.
• Ensure all drinks are made to order and meet quality expectations.
• Manage time effectively during busy hours to ensure quick service without compromising quality.
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by adhering to proper food preparation and handling procedures.
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling toppings, measuring ingredients, and maintaining inventory levels.
• Uphold café standards by ensuring food safety compliance and proper sanitation throughout the workspace and dining room.

Experience

• High School Degree or GED required.
• Enthusiasm for learning is key!
• Previous barista experience in a café or food service environment is a plus.
• Mandarin speaking is a plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
• Basic math skills for retail math calculations and accurate transaction processing.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to manage time effectively during peak hours while maintaining attention to detail in food preparation and customer interactions.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
