Boba Kitchen Specialist

Job Summary
Join our vibrant team as a Boba Kitchen Specialist, where your enthusiasm and attention to detail will create memorable beverage experiences for our customers. In this role, you’ll be the heart of our boba tea and food kitchen area, making the teas and toppings that our drinks are carefully crafted with. You will also be cross trained as a bobabarista to help the storefront make drinks during busy periods. Your energy will help foster a welcoming environment, delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, dynamic boba café setting dedicated to quality and fun.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients (e.g., teas, boba pearls, toppings) according to company recipes and standards
• Cook and assemble menu items, ensuring consistency and quality
• Monitor food stock levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
• Track and rotate inventory to maintain freshness and minimize waste
• Restock kitchen supplies and notify management when inventory is low
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including workstations, equipment, and storage areas in accordance with food safety standards
• Follow proper food handling procedures during food preparation and serving to ensure safety and quality standards are met
• Manage time effectively during busy hours to ensure quick service without compromising quality

Skills

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Basic mental math skills
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
• Knowledge of food safety practices, proper food handling, and basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations
• Ability to perform food preparation tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
• Previous experience in the food industry is a plus for success in this role

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
