Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Bobarista to join our team at our busy shop. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and a love for tea, ensuring that every customer enjoys a delightful experience. As a Bobarista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining the store's cleanliness, and providing exceptional service to our guests.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages with precision and care.
• Operate the Chowbus POS system efficiently for order processing.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the drink area, including food preparation stations.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling practices.
• Engage with customers, taking orders accurately while providing excellent customer service.
• Handle cash transactions and manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy.
• Assist in inventory management, including restocking supplies as needed.
• Demonstrate strong time management skills to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment.

Experience

• Previous barista experience or experience in the food service industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with tea preparation techniques and knowledge of various tea types is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
• Experience using POS systems is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
