What Awaits You in This Role?


• To ensure and control that spot, gas metal arc, laser, stud and nut welding are carried out in accordance with the relevant control plan and specifications.

• To make the necessary equipment requests for spot welding control application with ultrasonic inspection method, to follow up operator training and annual recertification, to organize device calibrations and annual operator correlation studies.

• Keeping track of Running Change and engineering change

• To follow up the periodic destructive testing (teardown) processes, to respond to the flash reports published for the weld areas of inappropriate quality detected during this process and to resolve the problem in accordance with the procedures.

• Working with cross functional teams to reduce costs and lead quality improvement efforts.

• To ensure and control that structural adhesive and NVH sealer processes are carried out in accordance with the relevant control plan and specifications.

• Working in accordance with ISO 9001 and Ford Global Engineering standards, leading audits and directing relevant teams.

• Participating in risk analysis teams in manufacturing operations, complying with occupational health and safety rules, and checking that instructions are followed by employees.

•Working with an experienced Body Manufacturing Engineering Team in one of the largest BIW production areas in Europe and being open to self-development.




What Are We Looking For in This Position?

• Graduating from Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Materials Engineering or related departments of universities

• Preferably at least 2 years of BIW experience in production/project areas in the automotive industry

• Basic knowledge about automotive production processes and welding methods in body production

•To be a Self-sufficient person and to lead the ultrasonic team.




Technical & Behavioural Skills and Competencies

• Able to use 3D visualization programs (Teamcenter, Catia etc.)

• High proficiency in MS Office programs

•B2+ English fluency

• Ford WERS system or similar program experience a plus

• High communication skills and a good teamplayer

•Enthusiastic about continuous research and development

•Understanding the changing needs of the market and customers
