About the role

The mechanic technician will be knowledgeable of basic equipment maintenance/service, and be capable of repairing systems and any other maintenance procedures.

What you will do

• Diagnose problems and make recommendations.
• Make estimates of materials required.
• Repair and maintain evaporative coolers.
• Repair and replace damaged parts and equipment.
• Work independently without direct supervision.

What you bring

• A variety of test instruments and tools necessary for the repair and maintenance of heating, ventilation, and sheet metal.
• Basic principles of electricity.
• Operational hazards and standard safety practices.
• Basic sheet metal work and fabrication of duct work.
Record keeping and report writing.
