Boiler Operator

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Boiler Operator to join a reputed organization in Qatar. The role involves the safe operation, maintenance, and testing of steam boiler plants to ensure consistent and efficient performance. The ideal candidate will have proven technical expertise in boiler operations, preferably within a hospital or similar high-demand environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain steam boilers and auxiliary equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance on boilers, pumps, valves, burners, and controls.
• Maintain accurate records of boiler operation, water treatment, and daily log sheets.
• Conduct boiler water analysis and chemical dosing to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot boiler malfunctions and perform corrective maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, operational standards, and manufacturer guidelines.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs and system upgrades.
• Respond promptly to boiler alarms and emergency situations.
• Ensure energy efficiency and minimize downtime in boiler operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the boiler room and associated equipment.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

• Technical/Vocational Certificate in Mechanical Trade.
• Certified Plant Mechanic preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in steam boiler plant operation, maintenance, and testing at a similar level of responsibility.
• At least 3 years of experience in an acute hospital setting (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of boiler systems, water treatment, and mechanical components.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and log reports.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong focus on safety, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Locally available in Qatar with valid visa and QID
