Afrimat CM Gauteng Pty Ltd, based in Henley on Klip, has a vacancy for a:

Boilermaker

Minimum Qualifications / Experience / Competencies

• Conduct routine, planned, and breakdown maintenance on crushers, screens, conveyors, bins, chutes, hoppers, and other fixed plant equipment.
• Identify and repair cracks, worn parts, and structural defects through welding, cutting, and fitting.
• Install new plant sections, support frames, guards, handrails, and other mechanical components as needed.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in workshops and work areas.
• Maintain tools, welding equipment, and workshop machinery in good working order.
• Work collaboratively with fitters, electricians, and plant operators to minimize downtime.
  
  

Duties And Responsibilities (not Limited Not)

• Grade 12
• Qualified Boilermaker (Red Seal Certificate).
• Minimum 2–3 years post-trade experience, preferably in a quarry, mining, or heavy industrial environment.
• Understanding of mechanical systems on crushing and screening plants.
• Write, understand, and communicate in English.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Must be prepared to work after hours when needed.
• Will be able to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
• Will be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• No criminal record.
• Assisting in preparation for internal and external audits.
