Book-Keeper

Job Title: Bookkeeper

Qualification & Experience

  • CA (Inter) qualified or partly qualified
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant bookkeeping experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain complete and accurate books of accounts
  • Record daily financial transactions including receipts, payments, and journal entries
  • Maintain general ledger and subsidiary ledgers
  • Perform bank, cash, and ledger reconciliations on a regular basis
  • Prepare and review trial balances
  • Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records
  • Ensure proper documentation and filing of accounting records

Reporting & Compliance

  • Assist in monthly and year-end closing processes
  • Support preparation of financial statements
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls
  • Assist with audit requirements by providing relevant schedules and records
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial information

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and accounting standards
  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or similar)
  • Good command of MS Excel
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage workload independently

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with tax deductions, withholding tax, and sales tax (preferred)
  • Exposure to international clients is an advantage
  • Familiarity with ERP systems

Work Environment

  • On-site / Remote / Hybrid (as applicable)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs80,000.00 per month
