Full-Charge Bookkeeper – Hybrid
Location: Sugar Land, TX Area (3 days in office / 2 days remote)
Salary: $70,000+ (commensurate with experience) + Bonus + Benefits

A growing and well-respected professional services firm in the Sugar Land area is seeking an experienced Full-Charge Bookkeeper to support a portfolio of small business and individual clients. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with multiple clients, thrives in an organized yet fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering accurate financial information that helps businesses operate smoothly.

The position offers a hybrid schedule, with three days in the office and two remote days (Thursday and Friday).

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and post journal entries
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
• Manage accounts payable, including invoice processing and payment execution
• Record cash receipts and disbursements
• Prepare monthly financial statements for clients
• Process client payroll and related reporting
• Prepare and file payroll tax and sales tax returns
• Provide light administrative support such as document scanning and client communication

Qualifications

• Experience performing full-charge bookkeeping responsibilities
• Intermediate proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines in a dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications

• QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification
• Experience working with Xero
• Experience processing payroll and sales tax filings

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $70,000+ depending on experience
• Annual bonus: Up to 10%
