Part-Time Bookkeeper (QuickBooks Online Required)

Reports To: Executive Director
Organization: Neighborhood Leadership Institute
Location: Cleveland, Ohio
Schedule: 25 hours per week (In office position)

Position Summary:

The nonprofit organization seeks a highly skilled, detail-oriented and dependable Part-Time Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day financial transactions and maintain accurate financial records. This role plays an important part in supporting the organization’s financial integrity and operational success.

The ideal candidate will have strong bookkeeping experience, advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Online
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
  • Record deposits and track expenses
  • Assist with monthly financial reports
  • Maintain organized financial documentation
  • Support the Executive Director with financial recordkeeping as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role
  • Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online (required)
  • Experience with nonprofit accounting is a plus
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience with nonprofit funding sources, grants, or restricted funds

· Associate’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent profession experience.

· QuickBooks Online Certificate

Compensation
Hourly rate $28.00-$32.00 based on experience and qualifications.

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
