Bookkeeper

Part-Time Bookkeeper (Fractional Hours Long-Term)

This is a true fractional role designed for a professional who already supports multiple businesses. We expect to be one of several clients you serve not your sole income source.

If you are building a portfolio of steady, long-term clients, this will fit beautifully.


Role Overview

Time Commitment

  • 48 hours per bi-weekly payroll cycle

  • Average 24 hours per week

  • Payroll Monday (every other week) is the only fixed deadline

Everything else is flexible with accountability and ownership.

Pay Structure

  • Higher end of range: focused strictly on bookkeeping deliverables

  • Lower end: may include light admin support to expand hours (not guaranteed)

This role rewards efficiency and precision.


Scheduling (Non-Negotiable)

  • Payroll Monday every other week

  • One early-week office visit on non-payroll weeks

  • On-site only

  • Midday start around 12:00 PM, working until complete

We offer flexibility in structure.
We require consistency in execution.


What Youll Own

Payroll (Required)

  • Process payroll in UKG/Minutemen

  • Submit accurately and on time every other Monday

Bookkeeping

  • Maintain QuickBooks

  • Accounts Payable & Receivable

  • Journal entries

  • Bank and credit card reconciliations

  • Financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet)

  • Vendor payments and billing oversight

Financial Support

  • Monitor inventory reporting

  • Assist with 401(k), health, and benefits coordination

  • Respond to vendor and internal finance questions

  • Optional admin projects based on pay structure

You will be trusted to manage this function with minimal oversight.


This Role Is Ideal If You

  • Prefer fractional, focused engagements

  • Already serve multiple clients

  • Are strong in QuickBooks and accounting fundamentals

  • Work independently and meet deadlines without reminders

  • Communicate clearly and professionally

  • Want steady, long-term consistency

Minimum 1 year bookkeeping experience required.
Multi-client experience required.


Compensation

  • $25$35 per hour

  • W-2 preferred

  • 1099 considered for the right professional

  • On-site only
