NAADPC is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization. Currently our affiliate American Voice's Against Apartheid is working on a grant that has established the Exploring Cultural Linkages Exhibit, which has opened in the South Africa Apartheid Museum in South Africa and at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC. NAADPC also provides drug prevention and training in lifeskills to Wards 1 and 2 in Washington, DC through our Coalition Prevention Network. NAADPC has also partnered with Howard University and Howard University Middle School to provide middle school, high school and college aged students drug prevention programs.

Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
- Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues
- Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- Perform bank reconciliations to verify accuracy of transactions

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in 10-key typing and data entry
- Familiarity with governmental accounting regulations is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in using Quickbooks software and MS Office applications
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
