Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Bookkeeper to join our team! In this vital role, you will manage a wide range of accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance across our financial operations. Your expertise will help us maintain precise financial records, support budgeting efforts, and facilitate smooth financial reporting. Responsibilities

• Excellent Excell Skills
• Maintain accurate general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account analysis, and account reconciliation
• Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations regularly to ensure data integrity
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently, ensuring timely payments and collections
• Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, Quicken, and other financial tools to record transactions and generate reports
• Support payroll processing and ensure compliance with tax regulations and GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) standards
• Assist with governmental accounting requirements and prepare financial reports for internal and external stakeholders
• Conduct double entry bookkeeping practices, including debits & credits, general ledger reconciliation, and account analysis

Experience

• Excellent Excel Skills
• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role with a strong understanding of corporate and non-profit accounting principles
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, Quicken, or equivalent systems
• Knowledge of GAAP standards and governmental accounting practices preferred
• Familiarity with financial concepts including bank reconciliation, journal entries, account reconciliation, budgeting, and technical accounting
• Ability to perform 10 key typing efficiently and accurately for data entry tasks
• Prior experience with payroll processing, tax filing support, and financial report writing is highly desirable
