Position: Bookkeeper
Reports To: Operations Manager
Position Summary:
As the Bookkeeper at Titan USA, Inc., you will be responsible for recording, maintaining and managing the Company’s financial transactions to ensure accuracy, compliance and timely reporting.
Essential Duties:
In keeping with the policies and procedures of the organization, along with all relevant legislative authority, the Bookkeeper will:
· Recording Financial Transactions: Accurately log income, expenses, sales, purchases and payments utilizing Plex.
· Maintain General Ledger: Reconcile accounts including Balance Sheet reconciliation, correct discrepancies, and ensure ledger accuracy.
· Month End Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly financial statements and reports by reviewing and recording monthly journal entries & accruals. Reconciling accounts by comparing bank information to records.
· Accounts Payable: Review, verify and process invoices received from vendors. Propose weekly payment schedules to management. Maintain positive vendor relationship.
· Accounts Receivable: Generate & distribute accurate invoices to customers in a timely manner. Process customer payment receipts. Monitor AR aging reports and follow up on overdue customer accounts.
· Capital Expenditure: Evaluate and prioritize capital expenditure projects, providing financial justification and ROI analysis.
· Budget Monitoring: Assist in tracking budget, identifying variances and recommending adjustments.
· Expense Management: Monitor and approve expenses and suggest cost-saving measures.
· KPM Reporting: Monitor key performance metrics (KPMs) related to production efficiency, quality, and financial performance, providing regular updates and actionable insights to management.
· Plex Production Software Management: Utilize Plex production software system for data analysis, reporting, and process optimization.
· Ad Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and provide decision support to senior management as required.
Education and/or Experience:
The Bookkeeper will have at least 2 years of Manufacturing experience, combined with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field required. Must also have a strong understanding of manufacturing accounting principles and standard costing.
· Proficiency in date entry.
· Experience with ERP systems, preferably Plex production software.
· Knowledge and understanding of US GAAP and industry standard accounting.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
· Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
· Strong organizational and time management skills.
· Attention to detail and good judgement / analytical skills.
· Able to communicate professionally, verbally and in writing with all levels of team members and customers (if required).
· The ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
