PowerGrid Services Corp (PGS) is a market-leading and rapidly growing Transmission & Distribution electrical services company serving top-tier utility clients. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a detail-driven Bookkeeper to support our accounting operations at the corporate level.

In this role, you’ll work closely with the Controller and accounting team, playing a key part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of daily financial transactions across multiple business units.

What You’ll Do

Core Accounting Responsibilities

• Record and verify daily deposits across multiple business units
• Prepare weekly allocations, equipment checks, and fuel entries
• Support month-end close activities including accruals and allocations
• Prepare and post journal entries (prepayments, accruals, adjustments)

Reconciliation & Reporting

• Reconcile Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and credit card transactions
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Assist with financial reporting and ad hoc analysis

Fixed Asset Management

• Track fixed asset additions and disposals in Acumatica
• Post and reconcile depreciation and amortization
• Ensure alignment between fixed assets and the general ledger

Team & Operational Support

• Collaborate with accounting team and business units
• Support process improvements and operational efficiency
• Maintain accurate documentation and financial records

What We’re Looking For

High School Diploma required
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred)
Basic accounting knowledge and financial understanding
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
Strong communication and teamwork skills
High level of confidentiality and professionalism
Self-motivated with a proactive mindset
