Accountant Job Description:

Accountant Duties and Responsibilities:
● Provide financial insights to management through meticulous research and
analysis of accounting data, preparing comprehensive reports.
● Bookkeep for a number of clients using Quickbooks Online.
● Prepare and import budgets.
● Compile and analyze account information to prepare entries for asset, liability,
and capital accounts.
● Document financial transactions by accurately entering account information.
● Recommend financial actions by evaluating various accounting options.
● Summarize the current financial status by collecting information and preparing
balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other essential reports.
● Substantiate financial transactions through thorough document audits.
● Maintain robust accounting controls by proposing and preparing policies and
procedures.
● Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account
information.
● Stay compliant with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements.
● Prepare special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing
account information and trends.
● Maintain customer confidence and protect operations by upholding the
confidentiality of financial information.
