Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to support our financial operations and ensure accurate recordkeeping across the organization. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured environment, enjoys working with numbers, and takes pride in maintaining organized and precise financial data.

The Bookkeeper will play a critical role in managing day-to-day accounting tasks, supporting financial reporting, and helping the business maintain strong financial health. The ideal candidate is highly organized, trustworthy, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

  • Financial Recordkeeping
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including income, expenses, and general ledger entries

Accounts Payable & Receivable

  • Process invoices, payments, and expense reports in a timely manner
  • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances
  • Maintain vendor and customer records with accuracy and consistency

Payroll & Reporting Support

  • Assist with payroll processing and ensure compliance with applicable regulations
  • Prepare basic financial reports such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow summaries
  • Support leadership with financial insights and reporting as needed

Compliance & Organization

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting best practices
  • Maintain organized digital and physical financial files
  • Assist with audits and provide documentation when required
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a regular basis
  • Ensure all financial transactions are properly documented and categorized

Qualifications

  • Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred
  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive financial information with integrity and confidentiality
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field is a plus

Pay: $45,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
