Bookkeeper

Wekiva Foliage, a leading online retailer of nursery plants, seeks an experienced bookkeeper for approximately 5-8 hours/week. Partial remote work is possible.

Requirements:

• Very proficient with QuickBooks Desktop
• Very familiar with payroll process and reporting
• Must be a self-starter able to work independently

Tasks and Responsibilities: Bookkeeping

• Maintain and reconcile operating account
• Enter transactions and reconcile credit card account
• Enter vehicle loan payments principal and interest
• Compute monthly sales tax and online report
• Monthly journal entries for sales tax and sales account adjustments

Payroll

• Weekly payroll for 12-15 employees
• Quarterly payroll tax returns (940 and RT-6)
• Annual FUTA tax return
• Issue annual W-2 forms for current and former-year employees
• Complete workers’ comp audit as required by carrier
