Job Title: Accountant / Bookkeeper (Hospitality & Development Businesses)
Location: Dubai, UAE (with responsibility for UK & UAE entities)

About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and commercially aware Accountant / Bookkeeper to support our growing businesses across the UK and UAE. This role is heavily focused on day-to-day bookkeeping, financial organisation, and weekly reporting, particularly within a fast-paced hospitality environment.
You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing project-based spreadsheets, and providing clear weekly insights to support decision-making.
Business Overview
You will be working across two entities:
- Development Company (UK-based only) – project-based financial tracking and reporting
- Hospitality Company (UK & UAE) – day-to-day bookkeeping, reporting, and performance tracking
Key Responsibilities
Bookkeeping & Financial Management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records across all entities
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Reconcile bank accounts, payment platforms, and supplier statements
- Track and categorise expenses across multiple cost centres
Weekly Reporting & Insights
- Produce clear weekly financial reports for the hospitality business (sales, costs, margins, cash flow)
- Identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for cost control
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
Spreadsheets & Project Tracking
- Build and manage detailed spreadsheets for:
- New store openings / projects
- Supplier cost tracking
- Operational performance
- Work closely with founders to translate numbers into actionable insights
Multi-Entity & Multi-Currency Oversight
- Manage financials across UK and UAE entities
- Handle multi-currency transactions and reporting
- Ensure clear separation and accuracy between businesses
Compliance & Support
- Assist with VAT tracking (UK & UAE where applicable)
- Prepare records for external accountants / auditors
- Ensure financial processes are organised and scalable
Requirements
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting (hospitality experience strongly preferred)
- Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills (this is critical)
- Experience managing multi-entity or multi-country accounts
- Familiarity with UK accounting practices; UAE knowledge is a plus
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Commercially minded — able to interpret numbers, not just record them
Working Style
- Flexible working structure (approx. 2–4 days per week depending on workload)
- Must be responsive and able to adapt to business needs
- Comfortable working closely with founders in a fast-moving environment

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED5,500.00 per month
