Based in our **Penny Hill, North Carolina** office, this **Full-Time** role is essential to maintaining the financial integrity and operational efficiency of our company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our day-to-day accounting and finance requirements, ensuring our records are accurate and our financial processes run smoothly. You will be a crucial part of a team known for providing exceptional heating, ventilation, and air conditioning solutions.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices, payments, and collections.
- Conduct regular bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial data.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
- Prepare and present key financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Process payroll and manage associated statutory reporting requirements.
- Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Maintain an organised and efficient system of financial records and documentation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks or similar platforms.
- Excellent understanding of bookkeeping principles and best practices.
- Exceptional numerical skills and a high level of attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities, with a proven capacity to meet deadlines.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A relevant qualification in accounting or bookkeeping is highly desirable.
