Job Title: Bookkeeper – Accounts Department

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day financial records for our fashion clothing and textile e-commerce brand. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate bookkeeping, timely reporting, and smooth coordination with sales, procurement, and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate books of accounts including sales, purchases, expenses, and payments
• Record daily e-commerce sales (website,, COD & online payments)
• Reconcile bank statements
• Manage accounts payable & receivable
• Prepare vendor payments, customer refunds, and expense reimbursements
• Maintain inventory-related accounting (stock inward/outward, cost tracking)
• Assist in monthly closing, trial balance, and basic financial reports
• Maintain proper documentation for invoices, receipts, vouchers, and ledgers
• Coordinate with logistics and sales teams for COD reconciliation
• Assist in tax-related documentation (Sales Tax, Income Tax, Withholding, etc.)
• Support auditors and management with required financial data
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
• 1–3 years of relevant bookkeeping or accounts experience (e-commerce preferred)
• Knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices
• Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Tally, ERP)
• Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables preferred)
• Understanding of e-commerce sales flows & inventory accounting is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and coordination skills

Preferred Experience

• Experience in fashion, textile, retail, or e-commerce brands
• Familiarity with online marketplaces and payment gateways
• Knowledge of local tax regulations and compliance
