Bookkeeper / Accounts Executive

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper / Accounts Executive with 3–4 years of solid experience in accounting and bookkeeping, particularly using Xero accounting software. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage day-to-day financial transactions with accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update financial records using Xero accounting software.
• Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Process accounts payable and receivable, and manage invoices and billing.
• Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
• Liaise with accountants or auditors for year-end financial processes.
• Assist in payroll processing and tax filings as required.
• Provide support during audits and financial reviews.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
• 3–4 years of proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
• Proficiency in Xero is mandatory.
• Proficiency in Excel.

Must have knowledge of UK Taxation and VAT.

• Solid understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS).
• Strong knowledge of reconciliation, reporting, and general ledger.
• Excellent Excel and financial data entry skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with international clients.
• Familiarity with other accounting tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho Books) is a plus.
• Basic understanding of tax laws and payroll processing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs70,000.00 - Rs80,000.00 per month
