Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks for a local manufacturer using SBT, including but not limited to accounts receivable and accounts payable.
  • Maintain accurate financial records by entering data correctly and timely
  • Assist with office management tasks such as phones, filing, and updating customer and company work orders with time and costs through excel spreadsheets.
  • Accounts payable to consist of verifying receiving paperwork against purchase orders and invoices. Verifying discrepancies, vouchering and coding of invoices and data entry inclusive of check printing.
  • Accounts receivable consisting of creating deposits and data entry.
  • Job costing consisting of maintaining costs for customer jobs and in-house production jobs on work orders and excel spreadsheets.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Must be highly organized
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Knowledge in SBT accounting software is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle data entry accurately with high attention to detail and proofreading skills.
  • Exceptional time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a busy environment

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
