Job Summary:

The bookkeeper will oversee entering data into spreadsheets and bookkeeping software, compiling reports, gather and organize bank statements, highlight discrepancies in company records and research possible reasons for errors or differences in expected versus actual account balances. Bookkeepers can also oversee basic administrative duties for the accounting team.

Job Responsibility:

• Accounts Receivable/Billing for related companies.
• Daily accounting entries related to hotel operations entered in QuickBooks.
• Bank Reconciliation and monthly cash flow reports.
• Daily P & L’s and Balance Sheets sent to ownership.
• Create month-end adjustments.
• Know basic accounting principles.
• Manage full cycle of accounting, using QuickBooks and SAP.
• Prioritize everyday tasks, such as: reconciling bank and credit card statements.
• Accruing payroll.

Job Requirements:

• 3-5 years of professional accounting/finance experience required.
• Have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or closely related field.
• Have a minimum 2-3 years of bookkeeping experience in a fast-paced environment, required.
• Must speak, read, and write fluently in English.
• Mandatory experience with Quickbooks.
• Experience with SAP B1 (preferred).
• Strong excel skills and attention to detail.
• The ability to meet deadlines.
• The ability to communicate complex data in a clear way.
• Exceptional organization skills.
• The ability to prioritize projects.
