Eyekon Medical is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team on a part-time basis, with the opportunity to transition to full-time. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop, exceptionally organized, and experienced in managing accounting functions within a manufacturing environment. We are seeking a dependable accounting professional who values accuracy, discretion, and collaboration, and who works effectively with leadership and cross-functional teams in a regulated medical manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Perform bank and account reconciliations
- Process invoices, payments, and expenses
- Process payroll, including payroll taxes, quarterly 941 filings, and compliance requirements
- Manage month-end closure and prepare financial reports for executive review
- Support inventory and manufacturing-related accounting activities
- Prepare and compile year-end financial documentation for the CPA
- Prepare financial reports and supporting documentation as needed
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks (required)
- Previous bookkeeping experience (required)
- Experience with payroll processing, payroll taxes, and year-end filings
- Fishbowl Inventory experience highly desirable (or other WMS experience)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Collaborative and able to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Demonstrates a high level of discretion and maintains strict confidentiality when handling financial and payroll information
- Bilingual is a plus, not required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods
- Ability to occasionally lift or move office materials with or without reasonable accommodation
Schedule & Work Environment
- Part-time position with potential to transition to full-time
- Monday through Friday
- Overtime is infrequent
- This is an on-site position; remote work is not available
Dress Requirements
- Business casual dress code required, with appropriate PPE worn as necessary
Additional Requirements
- Successful completion of a background check
