Bookkeeper (Part-Time)

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to work on-site at our Temple office. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the day-to-day accounting needs of the business.

Key Responsibilities

· Maintain and update financial records and general ledger

· Process accounts payable and accounts receivable

· Reconcile bank and credit card statements

· Generate invoices and track outstanding payments

· Assist with payroll processing

· Prepare monthly financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, etc.)

· Maintain organized vendor and customer records

· Support CPA with tax preparation and year-end reporting

Qualifications

· Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience required

· Proficiency in QuickBooks (preferred) or similar accounting software

· Strong understanding of basic accounting principles

· High attention to detail and accuracy

· Strong organizational and time management skills

· Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality

Preferred Experience

· Experience in construction, manufacturing, or service-based industries

· Familiarity with job costing

Schedule

· Part-time, approximately 10–20 hours per week

· Flexible schedule during standard business hours

· Work is performed on-site at our Temple location (not remote)

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
