We’re an established construction company in Silver Point, TN with over 15 years in business, and we’re looking for an experienced Bookkeeper / Payroll Specialist to manage our day‑to‑day financial operations. If you’re detail‑oriented, dependable, and skilled with QuickBooks, we want to meet you.
Responsibilities
- Handle weekly payroll processing, including wages, taxes, and deductions
- Maintain the general ledger and manage accounts payable / accounts receivable
- Reconcile bank accounts and financial statements
- Prepare journal entries and assist with budgeting
- Generate basic financial reports for management
- Help with HR support, safety and other duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong QuickBooks experience
- Payroll processing experience required
- Knowledge of double‑entry bookkeeping and account reconciliation
- Basic 10‑key and data‑entry accuracy;
- Microsoft Word & Excel proficiency preferred
- Must be able to type at least 60 WPM
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
