Bookkeeper/Junior Accountant

Job Summary
We are international automotive distribution company, seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Junior Accountant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing account reconciliations, and supporting various accounting functions across multiple entities. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your accounting skills within a collaborative environment, contributing to the financial health and integrity of our organization. Duties

  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including data entry, journal entries, and maintaining the general ledger using accounting software such as QuickBooks.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment tracking
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities by preparing financial reports and summaries
  • Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger accounting
  • Assist with payroll processing, tax filings, and governmental accounting requirements as needed
  • Help prepare financial statements, reports, and analysis to support management decision-making
  • Work directly with our CPA and Parent Company

Requirements

  • Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel familiarity with multiple platforms is a plus
  • Strong understanding of accounting concepts including double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, journal entries, and account analysis
  • Experience with bank reconciliation, account reconciliation, and general ledger reconciliation processes
  • Ability to perform high-volume data entry with accuracy
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate across departments and prepare clear financial reports

Pay: $53,980.92 - $65,009.28 per year
