Bookkeeper/Membership Services Coordinator

Overview
The Greater Mason City Board of REALTORS® is seeking a part-time Bookkeeper and Membership Services Coordinator to support the Executive Officer in managing the board and multiple listing service's accounts payables, receivables, and to assist with providing members with access to products and services. This employee will play a very important role within the company, overseeing the company's financial records.

The ideal candidate needs to be proficient with Quickbooks Online, MS Office Word, Excel, highly detail-oriented, and possess excellent math, reading, and communication skills. Confidentiality is a must. This position offers 20-25 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Bookkeeping - accounts receivables, payables, financial recordkeeping.
  • Provide exceptional customer support by addressing inquiries and resolving member issues promptly and courteously.
  • Manage phone systems, including answering calls, directing inquiries, and taking detailed messages using an interactive spreadsheet.
  • Maintain calendars for scheduling appointments and meetings efficiently.
  • Ensure the office environment is clean, organized, and welcoming for members.
  • Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with Executive Officer and members to support various administrative functions as needed.

Qualifications & Expectations

  • Advanced knowledge of Quickbooks online (QBO).
  • Proven experience in an office environment or similar role is preferred.
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to learn and adapt to change.
  • Strong customer support skills with a focus on providing prompt and courteous service.
  • Ability to problem solve.
  • Eager and willing to learn new and evolving technology.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively, ensuring assignments are completed on time.
  • Ability to type accurately and efficiently for data entry purposes, adhering to the company's professional expectations.
  • Be a team player! Work in a collaborative environment, while being responsible for independently assigned tasks.
  • Assisting Executive Officer with committee assignments to ensure successful marketing and implementation of the board's projects and activities.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Shift availability:

  • Day Shift (Preferred)
