Position Overview
The Bookkeeping Accountant is responsible for accurate and timely recording of all client financial transactions. This role ensures that invoices, receipts, bank statements, and other financial documents are correctly entered into the accounting system to support high-quality financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter daily financial transactions into the accounting software (sales, purchases, receipts, payments).
- Maintain up-to-date records of accounts payable and receivable.
- Perform routine bank reconciliations and flag discrepancies for senior review.
- Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly reports for client review.
- Ensure supporting documents are properly filed and accessible.
- Communicate with clients when needed to clarify missing or unclear data.
- Follow standardized bookkeeping processes and company policies to ensure consistency.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 1–3 years in accounting, bookkeeping, or data entry (fresh graduates with internship experience may be considered).
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and VAT/Zakat requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and cloud accounting software (training will be provided).
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills in Arabic and English.
