Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeping Accountant to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping, with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices. This role involves maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, VAT, and preparing financial statements to support our clients' needs.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Process invoices, payments, and payroll accurately and in a timely manner.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
- Prepare monthly and annual financial reports for management review.
- Support the preparation for audits and respond to inquiries from auditors.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient accounting operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred)
- 1-3 years of progressive accounting/bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or similar ERP systems)
- Expert-level Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas)
- Strong understanding of accounting standards and VAT regulations
