Job Purpose:


To operate and maintain boom trucks safely and efficiently for lifting, loading, unloading, and transporting heavy materials and equipment to designated locations. The role ensures safe lifting practices, adherence to site regulations, and contributes to smooth and timely project operations.



Job Responsibilities:


  • Operate boom trucks to lift, move, and place heavy loads as per project requirements.
  • Inspect and maintain the boom truck daily to ensure safe and reliable operation.
  • Follow safety procedures and load limits while operating lifting equipment.
  • Assist in securing loads properly to prevent damage or accidents during transport.
  • Coordinate with riggers, signalmen, and site supervisors during lifting operations.
  • Keep accurate records of work performed, loads lifted, and maintenance checks.
  • Report any mechanical issues or safety hazards immediately.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, traffic regulations, and occupational safety standards.



Qualifications and Experience:


  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • Valid heavy vehicle operator’s license.
  • Certified training in boom truck/crane operation (as per local regulations).
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience operating boom trucks in construction or industrial environments.
  • Knowledge of rigging practices, load charts, and safety procedures.
  • Physical fitness and ability to work in outdoor/site conditions.
  • Strong attention to safety and teamwork skills.
