Boom Truck Operator / Driver

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and certified Boom Truck Operator / Driver to join our team in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the truck to various project sites and safely operating the mounted crane/boom to lift, move, and position heavy materials, equipment, and structural components according to project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safe Operation: Drive the boom truck to and from job sites and safely operate the hydraulic boom/crane for loading, unloading, and lifting materials.
• Inspections & Maintenance: Conduct daily pre-operational checks on the truck and lifting mechanisms (oil levels, hydraulics, tires, brakes, and rigging gear) and report any faults immediately.
• Site Safety: Assess ground conditions, overhead clearances, and weight limits before setting up the outriggers and executing any lifts. Strict adherence to site HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) rules.
• Rigging Coordination: Work closely with site riggers and banksmen, following standard hand signals or radio communication to ensure precise and safe lifting.
• Logistics & Documentation: Maintain accurate daily logs of vehicle mileage, trip details, and material delivery sheets.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• License: Must possess a valid Qatar Heavy Driving License .
• Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience operating Boom Trucks within construction, MEP, or fire protection project sites in Qatar or the GCC.
• Status in Qatar: Must be currently residing in Qatar with a valid QID and a transferable visa (with NOC).
