Boom Truck Operator (Zagre, Croatia)

responsible for safely operating a truck-mounted crane to transport, load, unload, and position materials at job sites. This role requires a valid commercial driver’s license, crane operation skills, and strict adherence to safety regulations and lifting procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a truck-mounted crane to lift, move, and place materials safely and accurately
• Drive and position the crane truck at job sites in compliance with traffic and safety laws
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip vehicle and crane inspections
• Secure loads properly and ensure safe lifting practices
• Read and follow lift plans, load charts, and job instructions
• Communicate with riggers, signal persons, and site supervisors during lifting operations
• Maintain crane and truck cleanliness and report mechanical issues
• Complete delivery tickets, logbooks, and inspection reports
• Follow OSHA, DOT, and company safety policies

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required
• Crane operator certification preferred (e.g., NCCCO or equivalent)
• 4+ years of experience operating crane trucks preferred
• Clean driving record
