Construction Truck Driver (Zagre, Croatia)

Key Responsibilities:

• Vehicle Operation: Drive trucks safely and efficiently, following all traffic laws and company policies.
• Material Transport: Load, secure, and unload construction materials, equipment, and debris.
• Inspections: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (brakes, tires, fluids) and report defects.
• Site Coordination: Communicate with dispatchers, foremen, and crews for delivery schedules and site safety.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate delivery logs, trip reports, and fuel/mileage records.
• Site Safety: Set up job perimeters, ensure safe unloading environments, and assist with labor as needed.
• Maintenance: Perform basic upkeep like fueling and cleaning; report major issues to maintenance.

Typical Requirements:

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Clean driving record.
• Experience with heavy vehicles and construction environments.
• Knowledge of safety regulations (DOT, OSHA).
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials.
• Good communication and record-keeping skills.
