Borewell Technician

Job Responsibilities:

• MUST be responsible for the drilling, installation, and maintenance of deep-well water systems. They handle everything from finding water sources to repairing complex mechanical failures in pumps and motors.
• Drilling & Installation: Operating heavy-duty rigs to drill through soil and rock layers to reach underground aquifers.
• Pump & Motor Services: Installing, testing, and repairing submersible pumps and motors.
• Maintenance & Cleaning: Performing flushing and cleaning (jetting or airlifting) to remove silt, debris, or blockages that reduce water yield.
• System Rehabilitation: Addressing casing corrosion, misalignments, or structural damage to prevent contamination or collapse.
• Diagnostic Surveys: Using scientific methods like geophysical surveys or hydrogeological assessments to determine optimal drilling points. UltraTech Cement +6

Common Problems They Solve

• Low Water Yield: Often caused by a dropping water table or silt accumulation in the borehole.
• Pump Failures: Mechanical wear, electrical faults, or dry-running due to low water levels.
• Water Contamination: Fixing cracked casing pipes that allow surface runoff or sewage to enter the well.
• Electrical Issues: Repairing motor windings, control panels, or faulty underwater cabling.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
