Job Title: Botany Teacher (ICSE Curriculum)

Job Summary:

The Botany Teacher will be responsible for teaching plant biology topics to students as per the ICSE curriculum. The teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons, foster scientific curiosity, and help students develop a strong foundation in biological sciences with a focus on botany.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach Botany topics as part of the ICSE Biology syllabus for Grades 7–12.

Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and laboratory experiments in alignment with ICSE standards.

Conduct practical classes and ensure safe lab practices.

Evaluate student performance through assignments, tests, and projects.

Encourage students’ interest in plant sciences through activities, fieldwork, and discussions.

Maintain records of attendance, performance, and grades.

Participate in departmental meetings, parent-teacher interactions, and school events.

Qualifications:

Bachelor degree or Master’s degree in Botany / Plant Sciences or a related field.

B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) mandatory.

Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience, preferably in ICSE/ISC schools.

Strong communication and classroom management skills.

Preferred Skills:

Passion for environmental education and plant research.

Ability to integrate technology and multimedia tools into lessons.

Student-centered teaching approach.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: ₹6,000.00 - ₹8,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 12 per week
