Located at: 4th and Dewey
Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: The most ideal schedule is Tuesday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The family would be open to another 3 days/ week schedule. The family is happy to guarantee 21 hours per week for 6 months to start.
Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out
Commitment/Contract Length: This is a short-term position for 6+ months - longer if it’s a great match.
Start Date: ASAP

Children's Ages: Care will be for two children ages 2.5 years and 10 months.

About the Children:
The family's oldest child is mellow, likes to be outside, and go on adventures around the neighborhood.
He is advanced in his communication and is so close to being 100% potty trained.
He enjoys swimming, gymnastics and playing in the sandbox.
The family's youngest is sweet and more energetic. She loves to play with her older brother and is crawling and standing up.

About the Family:
Mom stays home and will be in and out.
Dad works full-time from home and often travels for work.

About the Pets:
This family has three large dogs - all candidates must be pet friendly.

Additional Notes:
This family has had a great relationship with their most recent nanny, who has worked for them for 3+ years but is now back in grad school. They are looking forward to welcoming in a new nanny to their home - someone who will be a part of their parenting team - very soon.
Key Responsibilities
A day in the life...

Standard Duties:
All standard nanny duties including child meal prep, child laundry, staying on schedule, light tidying, rotating toys and books, and going on outings in their very walkable area!

Travel Requirements:
No travel is required for this position, but the family would love someone who is happy to pet and house sit while the family is traveling.
Desired Skills And Abilities
The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…
2+ years of nanny experience with infants and toddlers.
Someone who likes plants and is knowledgable with gardens would be great!
The ideal candidate is casual, has structure but can follow a natural rhythm, and enjoys being outside.
The family rarely ever drives because they are in a very walkable area! They will really value a nanny who is happy to take the kids on outings in the stroller.
Compensation And Benefits
Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):
The family is offering $35-$40/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to a compensation of $19,100 - $21,800 (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:
This family is offering guaranteed hours, paid sick time, and paid holidays.
There is no PTO of the nanny's choosing since it is short-term, but the family is gone regularly (planned 3-4 weeks) giving the nanny paid free time. They would appreciate using these windows for your ‘time off’ as much as possible.
Required Qualifications
We welcome all candidates who meet or exceed the following requirements to apply…

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
Have all standard vaccinations.
