Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and engage with them to understand their needs and preferences
• Assist clients with product selections, providing detailed product demos and styling advice
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
• Upsell merchandise by recommending complementary products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales
• Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure the boutique is well-stocked and organized through regular stocking and inventory checks
• Conduct product demonstrations to showcase new arrivals or featured items effectively through videos & social media.
• Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or scheduling appointments
• Support supervising staff in managing daily operations, including cash register oversight and stock management
• Must be able to work 1-2 Saturdays/month and 1 Sunday every 6 weeks.

Experience

• Previous retail sales experience required, especially in boutique or specialty retail environments
• Strong communication skills
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math for accurate transactions and inventory management
• Experience with merchandising, product demos, upselling techniques, and stock organization enhances success in this role
• Knowledge of online advertising.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding customer service and create a welcoming shopping experience
• Assist customers with styling, fit, and product selection
• Drive sales through product knowledge and personalized service
• Maintain store appearance including cleaning, merchandising, and displays
• Assist with social media content and basic website updates
• Process incoming freight and organize inventory
• Perform computer input for inventory and sales-related tasks
• Support daily store operations and work collaboratively with the team
• Strong online selling experience: website, Poshmark, Social Media, Pinterest & other outlets.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs
• Comfortable being active throughout the workday

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required; college education preferred
• Minimum of 5 years retail experience required
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• High level of integrity and strong work ethic

We are looking for someone who is dependable, ethical, and passionate about helping customers feel confident and comfortable in what they wear.

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 30.0 per week
