Duties

• Safely operate a box truck to pick up and deliver goods along assigned routes, ensuring timely arrivals and departures
• Load and unload cargo using manual lifting techniques, pallet jacks, or forklifts as needed, adhering to safety protocols
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries and pickups
• Verify shipment accuracy, inspect loads for damage, and complete necessary documentation for each delivery
• Maintain the cleanliness and basic maintenance of your vehicle to ensure optimal performance
• Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations during route driving
• Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route updates, delays, or issues encountered on the road

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; <PERSON> driver certification is a plus
• Experience with manual transmission vehicles and heavy lifting techniques
• Familiarity with warehouse operations, including load & unload procedures using pallet jacks or forklifts
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle interactions professionally and courteously
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as moving cargo, lifting heavy items, and standing for extended periods
• Knowledge of route driving best practices and safety standards in commercial transportation

Pay: $1,200.00 - $1,700.00 per week
