Job Summary:
The Branch Accountant is responsible for handling daily accounting activities, cash management, sales reconciliation, inventory coordination, supplier payment follow-up, and ensuring accurate financial records for the branch operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle daily branch accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.
- Verify daily sales reports, POS transactions, and cash collections.
- Perform daily cash reconciliation and coordinate bank deposits.
- Monitor branch expenses and maintain proper documentation.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
- Coordinate with the warehouse and inventory team for stock verification and adjustments.
- Monitor supplier invoices, credit notes, and payment follow-ups.
- Ensure proper filing of vouchers, invoices, and accounting documents.
- Support internal and external audit requirements.
- Monitor petty cash and ensure proper approval procedures.
- Assist in payroll-related documentation and staff reimbursements when required.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with the Head Office Finance Department for reporting and approvals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in retail, supermarket, or hypermarket accounting.
- Good knowledge of accounting software and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in retail or FMCG sector.
- Knowledge of inventory accounting and stock control.
- Familiarity with ERP systems.
Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
