Overview

The Branch Director leads the overall operations of the home care agency, ensuring the effective use of resources to fulfill the organization’s mission. This role serves as the designated Administrator, overseeing daily operations, fiscal performance, regulatory compliance, and the direction of clinical and administrative teams. The Branch Director is accountable to the Governing Body and plays a critical role in driving operational excellence, growth, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Directs and manages daily branch operations, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and accrediting body requirements.
  • Oversees fiscal performance, including budgeting, expenditures, billing, and financial reporting.
  • Collaborates with clinical and sales leadership to align branch goals and foster strong interdisciplinary teamwork.
  • Leads staff recruitment, hiring, training, and performance management, ensuring regulatory and policy compliance.
  • Ensures adherence to patient care standards, safety protocols, and patient rights requirements.
  • Manages agency compliance, reporting obligations, policy reviews, and Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives.
  • Represents the organization in the community, maintaining awareness of healthcare trends and contributing to program development.
Qualifications
  • Degree in business, healthcare, or a related field.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse, physician, or at least one year of supervisory or administrative experience in home health or a licensed healthcare facility.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of home care standards, policies, and reimbursement practices.
  • Commitment to patient-centered, safe, and compassionate care.

Work Environment
This role operates primarily in an office setting, with periodic travel to healthcare facilities, patient homes, and community events. Tasks involve routine use of computers, phones, and other office equipment. Reasonable accommodations are available for qualified individuals with disabilities. Tasks do not routinely involve exposure to blood or body fluids but may require the performance of unplanned tasks where exposure could occur.
