POSITION SUMMARY

The Brand & Content Strategist is responsible for shaping and running McClone’s entire content strategy. This role takes complex ideas and turns them into clear, engaging content that helps our team have better conversations, supports client confidence, and strengthens McClone’s presence across every channel.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Own McClone’s editorial calendar and content strategy, ensuring we stay 3–4 weeks ahead across all channels (web, email, social, etc.)
  • Create 3–5 high-quality content pieces per week (blogs, case studies, FAQs, web copy, email content, video scripts, guides)
  • Translate insurance, benefits, and risk concepts into clear, practical, human-centered content that aligns with McClone’s brand voice
  • Prepare, publish, and maintain content across all digital platforms including the website CMS, email tools, and social channels
  • Maintain accurate content workflows and project status in Monday.com, ensuring smooth movement from idea draft approval publication
  • Keep an organized library of content and digital assets so internal teams know what exists, where it lives, and how to use it
  • Apply basic SEO and AEO best practices to improve organic visibility and make it easier for clients and prospects to find answers
  • Monitor content performance, learn what resonates, and use those insights to refine future topics and formats
  • Repurpose content effectively, turning one strong idea into multiple assets to maximize impact
  • Support broader marketing initiatives as needed to advance the function

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education

o High School diploma or equivalent

o Associate or bachelor’s degree in related field, preferred

  • Experience

o 5+ years of experience with a digital-first mindset and creating content for blogs, video scripts, email, social, and website

o 3+ years of hands-on experience publishing content in a CMS (HubSpot, preferred)

o Experience capturing simple video footage, preferred
