Summary:
Director – Brand Creative, will be a critical player in strategic creative development, managing/partnering with creative agencies to execute global and regional campaigns. Report directly to VP, Communications, China, and work closely with global creative and marketing teams in New York.
S/he should be a master of storytelling, strategical and analytical thinker who can create holistic content and execute breakthrough consumer-centric initiatives across all brand channels - OA,
Tiffany.com, WeChat mini program,
JD.com, Tmall flagship store, etc. Strong knowledge of social media ecosystems in China and a good understanding of global social media platforms, e-commerce, and luxury design expertise are essential.
S/he should contribute to achieving strategic and consistent brand objectives from global to local and bringing the local learnings to influence global creative strategy, ensuring China-centric campaigns are relevant.
S/he should be an enthusiastic leader to lead and direct a dynamic team of creative individuals and external creative partners (creative agencies, photographers, illustrators, programmers, animators and directors, etc.)
Responsibilities:

Create awe-inspiring, strong story-telling creative content creation/campaigns for regional programs that resonate with target audience.

Partner with stakeholders: Global Creative & Marketing Teams, Local Marketing, PR, EVENT, CRM, EC team etc, to intake and interpret briefs, ideate concepts, present work, and react to feedback.

Provide guidance and input to global teams with China-specific cultural and creative insights

Agile and nimble with ability to flex ideas across various touchpoints to create innovative, industry-first campaigns and top-class executions while ensuring alignment with our luxury customer base.

Strategic mindset with ability to understand business priorities, build concepts with a long-term vision, collaborate effectively with adjacent teams, and persuade stakeholders internally to drive successful project outcomes.

Manage and inspire a team of art directors, designers, and creatives to deliver exceptional work on multiple projects simultaneously. Be comfortable working in a changing and rapidly evolving environment.

Oversee the entire campaign process, from ideation stages to post-production, ensuring a seamless and impactful delivery.

Develop a sub-entity within the team that focuses on tailor-made local campaigns in various regions, ensuring cultural relevance and brand alignment.

Aware and be familiar with trends in culture, luxury arena, design, technology, user experience, and social media in China and Global (WeChat, Weibo, Red, Douyin, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram).
Requirements:

Extensive experience as a creative director or art director within the luxury or fashion industry.

A background in advertising and industry-leading luxury brands, known for delivering top-class work.

Strong luxury sensibility and taste level.

Proven track record of original concept and ideation work, as well as experience working for either global brand creative team or closely with global teams

Outstanding leadership skills with a focus on empowering and nurturing talent within the team.

Expertise in art direction, graphic design, and visual storytelling to bring campaigns to life successfully.

Bachelor's degree in design, fine arts, or a related field.

Solid knowledge of photo art direction/styling, animation, film/video creation, digital marketing and social content creation.

Able to understand technical, artistic and design issues, and clearly distill and communicate issues to key stakeholders.
