Brand Design Lead

About Tightly

Tightly is the modern retail operating system that helps brands sell smarter and with confidence. We bring together smart replenishment, purchase order automation, and supplier & 3PL sync into a unified workflow—so e-commerce and multichannel teams can eliminate stockouts, reduce excess inventory, and protect cash flow. Tightly powers inventory operations for more than 100 leading retail and e-commerce brands — and we’re expanding fast. As our customer base grows and our footprint in the enterprise market deepens, we’re building the team that will define how Tightly shows up across every touchpoint. We care about building thoughtfully, communicating openly, and creating an environment where ideas are welcomed and people feel empowered to contribute.

The Role

We’re hiring a Brand Design Lead to join the Marketing team and drive the visual execution of our go-to-market initiatives. You’ll work closely with marketing leadership to translate strategy, positioning, and campaign goals into high-performing creative across paid channels, social media, website, email, and sales enablement. This role operates within a fast-paced, high-output environment. Campaigns move quickly, priorities shift, and clarity is essential. We’re looking for someone ambitious and motivated by momentum — a designer who can manage multiple workstreams efficiently while maintaining a high standard of craft. As the team continues to grow, there is meaningful opportunity to expand your scope and impact within the function. This is not a production-only role. You will be expected to engage thoughtfully with briefs, contribute ideas, and execute work from concept through final delivery. We’re looking for someone who understands that great design isn’t decoration; it’s communication. It should be clear, intentional, and effective.

Core Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Campaign Execution: From scoping out an initial brief to building concepts and executing visuals for integrated marketing campaigns across social, email, web, and performance channels.
  • Brand Evolution: Actively refine and scale our brand guidelines so they hold up under rapid execution. Build systems that allow marketing to move quickly without compromising brand integrity.
  • Production Excellence: Manage the end-to-end design process, from initial brainstorming and moodboarding to final asset delivery and QA.

What You’ll Need

  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in a marketing design role, within a B2B, SaaS environment
  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating sophisticated typography, layout, color theory, and—most importantly—strategic thinking behind the visuals
  • Communicate complexity with clarity: Demonstrate an ability to break down a complex product into clear and simple visual storytelling
  • Tech Stack: Mastery of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Comfortable with Canva for social media collaboration. Experience with motion (After Effects) or web builders (Webflow/Framer) is a significant plus
  • Product Intuition: A deep understanding of how to translate complex technical product features into relatable, human-centric visual stories
  • Systems Thinking: Ability to build and maintain design libraries and templates that empower the wider marketing team to move fast without breaking the brand
