Are you a typography-obsessed, detail-loving creative powerhouse who thrives on collaboration, craves great design challenges, and believes in the magic of white space? Valley Bank is looking for a Brand Designer to join our small but mighty in-house Creative Services team. We’re a tight-knit group that punches above our weight—and we’re looking for someone who can help us raise the bar even higher.
What You’ll Do:

Create exceptional design work across print and digital media—marketing campaigns, web graphics, signage, sub-brand identities, pitch decks, motion graphics, presentations, and more.

Translate strategy into smart design, working within existing brand guidelines while knowing exactly how (and when) to push them in the right direction.

Craft clean, organized, on-brand assets in Adobe Creative Cloud (especially InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects, maybe Express).

Design with intention. You know visual hierarchy, ADA accessibility, and the nuances between digital vs. print execution.

Own the process. From concepts to comps to final files, you’re meticulous about specs, pre-press, and QA.

Support marketing campaigns with thoughtful layout, clear communication, and a keen eye for detail.

Work seamlessly with copywriters, strategists, production, and business stakeholders—asking great questions and offering smart solutions.
Bonus Points If You:

Have experience in financial services or regulated industries and understand legal/compliance review processes.

Can build simple animations or motion graphics in After Effects or Adobe Express.

Know your way around PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, and can make a deck sing.

Have an eye for environmental and signage design.

Are comfortable presenting your work to a room of stakeholders with clarity and confidence.

Can do some video editing to help bring stories to life.

Can pick up a camera (or your phone!) and capture a great photo or video when inspiration strikes.

Have experience using design systems in Figma—and know how to keep things pixel-perfect and on-brand.
