Franchise Retail Sales Manager – MENA & Africa

Location: Dubai

Salary: AED 25,000 - AED 28,000


Our client is looking for a high-performing Franchise Retail Sales Manager to oversee their Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) franchise operations across the GCC (excluding UAE) and African markets.


In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for scaling mono-branded store footprints, managing high-level partner relationships, and ensuring their brand becomes a top-three athletic powerhouse in the region.


Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Account Management: Lead the sales lifecycle for major regional retail groups
  • Performance Excellence: Deliver on monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets while maintaining strict gross margin benchmarks.
  • Operational Oversight: Act as the primary liaison for day-to-day operations between the brand and franchise partners, ensuring 100% fulfilment of bookings and timely replenishment.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor trends and consumer insights across the GCC and Africa to influence assortment flow and pricing strategies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Regional Product and Marketing teams to ensure on-time product launches and impactful marketing activations.
  • Financial & Range Planning: Develop yearly financial plans and range architectures that align with the brand’s Long-Range Plan (LRP) and regional strategy.


Qualifications

  • Experience: 7+ years in Key Account Management with a proven track record in the athletic or lifestyle retail sector.
  • Franchise Expertise: Hands-on experience managing partner-led franchise models (DTC) is essential.
  • Regional Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Middle East and Africa commercial landscapes.
  • Analytical Rigor: Advanced skills in Excel, Power BI, and financial modelling to drive data-led decision-making.
  • Leadership: Exceptional ability to manage and communicate with teams across diverse geographical landscapes.
  • Mobility: Willingness to travel frequently within the Middle East and Africa regions for in-market visits and global meetings.
