ABOUT NINE PIN

Nine Pin Ciderworks is New York’s first farm cidery, founded with a mission: support New York farms by crafting exceptional cider from 100% fresh-pressed New York apples. From our home in Albany’s Warehouse District, we create innovative ciders available across NY, MA, and NJ — bringing people together through orchard-rooted flavor and vibrant community experiences.

THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Brand Marketing Coordinator who will execute Nine Pin’s brand and content strategy with a primary focus on tasting room and event marketing via social media. This is a highly hands-on role for someone who thrives in real-world brand environments — capturing customers, experiences, and the energy of our tasting room and events.

In addition to these core responsibilities, you’ll provide project management support across all marketing functions, including brand materials, cider/product launches, email communication, campaigns, and sales collateral. You will help ensure deliverables are organized, on-brand, and completed on-time.

You will collaborate closely with the Director of Brand & Marketing, the Event Coordinator, the Tasting Room Manager, the in-house Designer, and the Sales team.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Social Media & Content Creation

· Execute Nine Pin’s daily social media strategy across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube etc.

· Capture authentic photo and video content featuring customers, tasting room moments, cider releases, and events

· On-camera personality and willingness to appear in content as needed (stories, tastings, walkthroughs)

· Write engaging captions and social copy that reflect Nine Pin’s voice

· Track and report basic analytics to evaluate content performance

· Identify relevant platform trends and propose brand-appropriate ideas

Skills necessary:
✓ Strong short-form writing
✓ Photography and videography capture
✓ Basic photo/video editing
✓ Understanding of social media behavior and trends
✓ Ability to interpret foundational analytics

Tasting Room & Event Marketing

· Collaborate with the Event Coordinator and Tasting Room Manager to promote tasting room offerings, cider releases, and events

· Capture compelling content at events and in the tasting room

· Attend after-hours and off-premise events as needed to capture content and support brand presence

· Spot and document real customer interactions and brand moments

· Help ensure event-related messaging is consistent across platforms and materials

Skills necessary:
✓ Interpersonal comfort and customer engagement
✓ Quick content capture in dynamic environments
✓ Strong observational instincts
✓ Clear, friendly communication
✓ Willingness to work nights/weekends as needed

Marketing Project Management

· Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and cross-team communication across marketing, sales, events, and design

· Gather product facts, copy needs, reference content, and supporting materials to brief the Designer effectively

· Maintain marketing calendars, production timelines, and project trackers

· Assist with the development and organization of brand collateral, cider/product sheets, email content needs, campaign items, and sales materials

· Review materials for accuracy, brand consistency, and completeness

Skills necessary:
✓ Strong organization and multitasking
✓ Clear communication and follow-through
✓ Understanding of marketing workflows
✓ Ability to collaborate across teams (sales, events, tasting room, design)
✓ Detail orientation for copy, content, and deliverables
✓ Ability to plan ahead and keep projects aligned

WHO YOU ARE

· A strong writer with an intuitive sense of brand storytelling

· A capable content creator with photography and video skills

· Personable, observant, and comfortable capturing customers in real settings

· Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple timelines

· Analytical enough to track performance metrics and learn from them

· Collaborative across events, tasting room, sales, and design teams

· Energized by the craft beverage world and community-focused brand building

QUALIFICATIONS
